makan-makan

This makan-makan was actually during Syawal, but it's not actually an open house...sebab invite close family je. Since jemputan tak ramai  bolehlah masak sendiri....as always with me, we start with desserts..

 Kek lumut Sarawak and 2 types of fruitcakes.This time i made kek lumut using cake flour instead of the all purpose flour recommended in the recipe..the cake turned out smoother and finer.

I've tried making many chocolate cakes, in my opinion so far this is the best, the recipe I got from my mom. Cookies yang tinggal only biskut mazola, tu pun bawak from kampung.

The night before, making burger patties from scratch using 5kg of beef, cuba goreng sikit dulu, tak cukup garam,..dah cukup rasa semuanya baru start buat patties...we got about 40 patties altogether.

Side dishes and condiments for burgers..fries, onion rings, lettuces, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, stir fried mushrooms, caramelized onions, cheese and the sauces.

lepas ni my niece and nephew main kat luar with Irfan...lagi best. Ada guests lagi  yang lupa nak snap gambar...ni aje yang ade dlm kamera. Thank you to all who came to our place, hope you enjoyed the food and company.
