Trip to Bako National Park

The next day early morning we walked to the bus station. Had breakfast before boarding the bus.

I can't remember when was the last time i took a public bus and have forgotten how cheap is the bus fare..a 45 mins single journey cost  four of us just RM9 ;)

Since kena tunggu air pasang at about 12 pm, amik gambar kat jeti dulu. It's better to call first to find when they start operation. We waited about 2 hours here,

Finally...we are on our way..we've been told that the sea is rough..the boat (the small boat that can carry max 6 passengers) had to stop a few times when we reached a muddy area, but the moment we are out of those area....I was continuously praying for us to reach Bako safely.. I think this was our worst experience in a boat..I also lost my cap here...terbang ditiup angin.
Alhamdulillah we reached there safely, the kids were racing to the 'office/registration' counter
all visitors have to register before they start trekking and 'sign out' after their trip  for safety reason
this is taken we we started trekking, on our way back we saw a snake crossing these bridge. Since DH and Irfan were in front, they are the ones who saw it first.. DH was shocked and Irfan started to cry..we waited till the snake was out of our way before making our move.

jungle trekking...much easier for the kids this time

we took one of the easiest trail and 40 minutes ( 0.8km) later we saw this breathtaking view
only 4 of us at this beach..
we didn't spent a long time here as the waves was strong for the kids
we did not see any proboscis monkey along the trail but our boatman was kind enough to bring us near the monkeys during the boat trip back. We reached the jetty and had our tea before boarding the same bus back to Kuching.

Hi Ezlin, wow! I love this place. Never been there. And you a good photographer. Great pics. Can see your gang having fun too.
I love that deserted beach. And the jungle trekking.
Everything looks so green, and we seeing white past few months too.

Have fun,
Lee.

Hi Uncle Lee,
Yes... we did have fun at Bako, too bad the waves were too strong for us, otherwise we would have stayed longer at the beach.
