bakes and cakes - banoffee pie

i made this pie last when we went back to seremban

 
the recipe was taken from a few websites, but it was basically using a digestive crumbs and melted butter for the base

 the toffee is actually a dulche de leche , just bake the condensed milk in the oven, tips taken from davidlebovitz.com

close up of yummy dulche de leche, would probably taste a lot better if our condensed 'creamer' is actually made from milk.
